Being stationed so far away from home, they were surprised to hear a female voice up there in the middle of nothing but ice and snow. We were in Thule during the Christmas Holidays, 1969, for 3 weeks. |

| Martha kept busy singing while we were busy being moms. After working with Cousin Wilbur's Band, she formed a band of her own called The Hallmarks and traveled and sang for several years during the 70's. |
