| When God's only Son in Gethsemane Prayed "Thy will be done," then went to Calvary. And gave His life so our lives could be healed. On that old rugged cross, He alone that day, Chose to shed His blood, our debt of sin to pay. He was holding on to nothing but God's will. Chorus: It's not God's will for you to spend eternity In a place where His sweet love and amazing grace won't be. As day by day rolls into wasted years, Your life could end in a pool of tears. You'll lose ev'rything you've worked so hard to build. There is only one thing left to do: Choose the Only One who can see you through, Or you'll be holding on to nothing but your will. If you've lived your life the way you wanted to. You claim it's yours and you've paid your dues. So, no one has the right to tell you what's real. Then, when you're all alone, breathing your last, And your life on earth is fleeing fast, You'll be holding on to nothing but your will.
