| Hold Back The Storms, Lord |
| Hold Back the Snow Storm They say the snow storm's coming; The winds will be strong. Icy bridges and dangerous streets Will keep many people home. But, Lord, you know we need to work Each day to make ends meet. So, hold back the freezing snow storm, Lord, I ask You, please. Chorus: Hold back the freezing snowstorm; And let the winds be still. Don't let the ice form on the bridges and the hills. Keep safe the little ones who call on Your Name. Let all about us know our Savior reigns. Lord, remember the last snow storm Forecast for our town? The winds would blow in ice and snow Four inches all around. But, Lord, I prayed, don't let it happen, Please turn it away. Thank you, Lord, you heard our prayer And sent sunshine that day. Dear Lord, you promised us If we would only ask, That You would grant our request, No matter what the task. Nothing is too hard for You, 'Cause, Lord, You made it all. No valley is too deep, And no mountain too tall. | Hold Back the Raging Storm They say a big storm's coming; The winds will be strong. Fallen trees and dangerous streets Will cause many to leave their homes. But, Lord, you know we need to work Each day to make ends meet. So, hold back the raging storm, Lord, I ask You, please. Chorus: Hold back the raging storm, Lord, And let the winds be still. Don't let the tall trees fall across my window sill. Keep safe the ones who love You and call on Your Name. Let all about us know our Savior reigns. Lord, remember the last big storm Forecast for our town? The winds would blow and trees would fall; There'd be damage all around. But, Lord, I prayed, don't let it happen, Please turn it away. Thank you, Lord, you heard our prayer And sent sunshine that day. Dear Lord, you promised us If two or three would ask, That You would grant our request, No matter what the task. Nothing is too hard for You, 'Cause, Lord, You made it all. No valley is too deep, And no mountain too tall.
