| Resist the Devil |
| Chorus: Resist the devil and he will flee. Say "No!" to temptation, win the victory. Say "Yes!" to Jesus, He will set you free, And give you power o'er the enemy. God promised to deliver and set us free, And give us power o'er the enemy. Now, the Word of God will make the devil flee: God's word is stronger than the enemy. Chorus: So, resist the devil and he will flee. Say "No!" to temptation, win the victory. Say "Yes!" to Jesus, He will set you free, And give you power o'er the enemy. Now, the devil will try anything to make you sin. And, he won't give up until he's sure he cannot win. So, don't hesitate, give him the gate, stand up to him! Say, "It is written in God's Word, 'I shall not sin!'" Chorus: Resist the devil and he will flee. Say "No!" to temptation, win the victory. Say "Yes!" to Jesus, He will set you free, And give you power o'er the enemy. Say "Yes!" to Jesus, He will set you free, And give you power o'er the enemy. Extra Verses: Now, Samson was God's mighty man until that hour, When lust of flesh and foolish jesting took away his power. His fate can be a lesson for us all today: You can't play around with sin and not expect to pay. King David should have heeded God's Word that day, And, when he saw Bathsheba, looked the other way. He had the Ten Commandments and he knew how to pray. But he didn't have the Holy Ghost as we do today.
