Jesus, You Love Me

Jesus, you love me,
You really love me.
Jesus, I know you do.
You died to save me.
Your life you gave me.
So I know your love is true.

Once I was lost in sin,
I wouldn't let you in.
Though I was lonely and blue.
But you kept on knocking,
You set my boat a rocking.
Lord, you knew just what to do.

So, I fell down on my knees
I said, Lord, take over please.
I've made such a mess of my life.
He said, you will succeed
If you will let me lead.
I can handle all your strife.

For, you see, I love you,
I really love you.
And, child, my love is true.
I died to save you,
My life I gave you,
And I'll make your life brand new.
