From my heart to yours.....
The Master's Call*
When I saw this page, I just had to put something
on it. It reminded me of the Lord's vineyard, in
which we must work and gather "fruit" for the
Kingdom of God.
In John 4:34, Jesus saith unto them, "My meat is
to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish
his work."
35. "Say not ye, 'There are yet four months, and
then cometh harvest?' behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they
are white already to harvest."
36. "And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and
gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that
soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together."
37. "And herein is that saying true, One soweth,
and another reapeth."
38. "I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no
labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into
their labours."
For many years, I lived with a fear of rejection, so,
when the Lord began to speak to my heart about
witnessing for Him and inviting people to accept
Jesus as their personal Savior, I would feel very shy
about doing so for fear of being rejected.
Now, I realize that I only have to testify of what God
has done for me, and what Jesus means to me, as the
Holy Spirit leads and opens the door to do so, and
speak the Word of God, and His Word will not return
void.
Whether or not the person I talk to accepts the Lord
right then or, if I sow the seed and someone else reaps
the harvest of leading them to the Lord. I just leave
it all up to God.
When God does a work in your heart, He takes all the
fear out of you. Perfect love casts out fear. The more
you love God, the less you fear man.
Lord, thank You for the blood You shed on Calvary.
You paid it all to make me whole and free.
Sin no longer can find a living place in me,
Since You cleansed my soul eternally.
So, keep a song in your heart and be ready to witness
of God's great LOVE. - Marjie Reece
