A Note To God

I hope to see You in heaven.
I hope we can talk.
I hope people stop being bad.
I hope my Mom comes home safe.
But, most of all,
I hope to see You in heaven.

Lots of LOVE,

A Note From God

Listen
to the
voice of God
and He will say,
“Someday, soon,
I will come for you.
Rejoice for my return.
Those who have repented,
And those who loved me well,
will live in the Kingdom of God,
And have eternal life with me forever.
And, hopefully, I’ll see you there and
get to walk with you and talk with you.
So, listen to the Lord and live in paradise,
And know you’re in good hands for ever more."

My Life Role Model

I know it might seem strange
but my life role model
is my grandmother,
because she inspires me
to sing and rejoice and respect
God the way everyone should.
I love singing and rejoicing
and praising the Lord,
and I owe my life to her
for showing me the right way
and protecting me from evil.

TRUTH
From an honest man comes truth
And from truth comes freedom.

My Mom

Mom, you make me smile.
You make me laugh.
You teach good things
like taking the right path.
Life is a strife
but you make it better.
I hope we will
always be together.

My Vision

“I was walking through a forest.
The trees were really tall and everywhere
there was a beautiful light-pink
and orange light glowing.
Then I came to this one tree
and there was a Bible nailed to it.
There was also another Bible propped up
on the bottom of the tree near the roots.
I looked up and I saw a bright light
was shining down through
the branches of the tree.

The Lord is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

He is God and the Only God.
Every Christian heart should beat true to Him.
He is the Father of all fathers,
The King of all kings.
The Lord of all lords.
The Wonder of the world.
God is Greater than Great.
He is Perfect.

If He is not your God, Boss, Lover, Law,
Life and Light,
You need to say this simple prayer:

Dear God,
Please forgive my sins, and help me
to become a better person today.
I ask you to come into my life
and help me make the right choices
and live a better life.
In Jesus' Name.  Amen.

He Sure Does Love You!

God the Father and His Son, Jesus,
Are the wonders of the world.
The Lord is the law, love, light
And the way, the truth and the life.
If you are looking for something
Or someone that's perfecter than perfect,
I know just who you're looking for:
Jesus and God the Father.

He shed His blood for you.
Sacrificed His life for you.
He loves you wherever you are
And whatever you do.
He sure does love you!
He sure does love you!

God, You Are Great!

Did You know that You are great?
I know that You would never hate.
You work hard to stay in charge.
No matter what,
You’ll always put a smile on my face.
No one could ever take Your place.

He's Always There

He's there day and night
watching over me.
Sometimes, I can almost see
The Holy Spirit looking
straight at me.
So, I want you to know
He's  there.
He's there watching over you
and me.

A Crack In The Doorway

A crack in the doorway;
I look out to see
the Lord Jesus Christ
coming down to me.
The trumpets are roaring;
The bells are a ringing,
and the heavenly hosts of angels
are singing
beautiful songs of praise.

A crack in the doorway;
I look out to see
the Lord coming down
on a Golden Stairway to me.

I Am A Believer

I believe.
I believe He can hear me
when I cry
or even when I sigh.
I believe.
I believe He is the Lord
who saved me from my sins.
I believe.
I believe that Jesus loves me.

An Easter Poem

He is gracious.  He is true.
He shed His blood for me and you.
His robe was purple and everyone was sad
Except for the people who were being bad.
He shed some tears on Calvary
Crying, "Father, It is finished, receive Me.”
His feet and hands covered in red
As He cried in sorrow he bled and bled.
And now we have Easter to celebrate
His rising from the dead.
We praise His Holy Name,
Knowing that our life is not a game.
God’s Precious Son did not run
Because He knew that, for our sake,
It had to be done.

A Prayer

I thought that You had turned me away
because I listened
to what the devil had to say.
So, I never came back to You
until this day.
Now, Lord, I have to repent
in Your Name,
I know that You will wash away
all my sins and shame.
In Jesus' Name I pray.
And, I thank You for hearing me today.

A lovely poem written for me
by my granddaughter, Tabitha,
on my birthday, today....

Nannie, you may be getting older
But your heart hasn't gotten colder.
Something from a friend
A dream of eternity to spend.
And when your heart is broken,
A hand is what I will lend
So I can help your heart mend.
Love and kindness is the thread,
The gentle spoken words is the needle.

With Love,
Tabitha

PRAISE BE TO GOD!

Praise be to God!  He made man from dust.
Praise be to God!  The snake’s head He crushed.
Praise be to God!  For He made a snake from a rod.
Praise be to God!  His love is kind.
Praise be to God!  Who made water into wine,
and cast those demons into the swine.
Praise be to God Who raised the sick from their bed
and Lazareth from the dead.
Praise be to God!  Who arose on the third day.
The same Who had once slept on hay.
Praise be to God!  Who left the world
for it never to be the same.
Praise be to God!
for soon He’ll be back again.

By The Sea

In the valley of the mountain by the sea,
I feel calm and at peace, my soul set free.
Never hearing a plea or demand,
So I sink my feet into the cool, wet sand.
The sea glistens like a woman's blue eye,
I watch the sunset, not a cloud in the sky.
I look to the sky and see a graceful wing.
I sit and relax as the birds begin to sing.
As I awake in the morning and watch the sunrise,
I awake with moans and with sighs.
I walk to the sea and watch the gorgeous fish.
If only I could stay free - that's my wish.
If only I didn't have a care,
Then relaxation is what I'd share.

Tabitha is 13 years old.
Jesus loves me.
Take a tumble for Jesus.
You'll be so glad you did!
HE'S THE PEACE MAKER!
PEACE

Great people fight for their beliefs and their honor.
Gracious people fight for peace and freedom.
Then, there are those who are self-centered and
fight solely for their wants and luxuries.
And, then come the people, great with beliefs and
honor, who, graciously granting peace and freedom,
are self-centered, washing themselves
in wants and luxuries.
There are also people who live to do wrong.
They search to find weaklings to prey on.
There are people trapped in these situations
who have lost all hope and have no will.
There are people being tortured and tormented day
and night, but the people who could do the most,
just sit and watch, sometimes encouraging it,
if it is their belief that the pain should go on.
And, so, are there really good and bad people or
are all of us just fighting for our beliefs and rights?
Are we all in some aspect good or bad, maybe both?

But, to ever succeed in true tranquility,
we must learn to overcome our selfishness
and become open minded to the rest of the world.
We must change our views on Freedom and Peace,
War and Murder.  We must understand the world
before judging it.  We should all strive to create a
better environment for the people of the world.
We should live like there's no tomorrow
and that we have no need to worry.
We should love like we have never loved before
to show the world we can be a peaceful people.
We can breathe the Spring air and smell the roses.
We can live as a people.
We can love as a people.
And life will still go on and, hopefully,
in a better, more satisfactory way.
One that we all as people can enjoy.

My concern for the world situation gave me
the following two comments:

Shadow Land

As a shadow
creeping and low,
my face is hidden and does not show.
I run with breath and footsteps unheard.
Shhh!  Quiet, not one word!
A ghost lurking, you say, how absurd!
My face blank,
I decide or discuss with no rank.
My image instantly gone
like a ship that sank.
I barely move.
I slip in through cracks and grooves.
You wonder why this is the life I choose.
I swim fast.
I want it to last,
flowing and free,
but held back like a ship's mast.
I am invisible to the world,
and no one caring, boy or girl.
I spin and whirl,
thinking these thoughts,
as I do when I (walk..?) dance my alley waltz,
think these, and also my faults.
But these people see,
although it isn't me,
I cannot change this with just a plea.
In this far off land,
under and over - same time - what a demand!
Hard, rough, soft and smooth,
laughing, crying, too much to soothe.
Opposites like yin and yang,
a song is sung but not heard.
Barely understood are those words:
Love, death, promise, threat.
Why a question or hidden answer?
It jumps through thoughts like a dancer.
Naive but wise, loved and despised.
This opposite has no direct.
Has it gone or has it come and grown fond?
Why has it been here rather than there?
Why is it ugly to be bright and fair?
What a land and a strife we share!

Just An Ordinary Girl

Walking hand in hand,
Standing straight,
Feet pressed on sand;
Looking, knowing, so complete;
Dancing, singing,
Clear rush water bells ringing.
I stand hand in hand
With the Man of many names;
The Man who heals the blind,
The dumb and the lame.
I walk with Him,
Saviour of the world,
I talk with Him,
Me, just an ordinary girl.

Purple Lily

I had walked for a while thinking and wondering as I often do
through a garden with a rosy, sweet smelling dew.
A breeze passed lightly through the wooded garden,
spreading the lovely fragrance.
Then, with the breeze came a Purple Lily.
I reached toward it and it whisked away in an instance.
It seemed to dance and twirl with the breeze.
It filled me with peace and a relaxing ease.
I began to laugh and dance then I began to twist and twirl.
With that lily I was once again a playful little girl.
I danced and spun until I was out of breath.
I dropped playfully and looked at the clouds
while I lay there to rest.
As I pulled away from the sun warmed ground.
And what a surprise that I had found.
A meadow of Purple Lily's.
Their fragrance so sweet and light.

Trusting Him

When my life is troubled
and filled with worrying days,
I tend to stumble
and lose my own way.

But, then, I remember
His appalling pain
the day He rendered
His Son to be slain.

In order to save us
from that torturous fate,
a ransom was paid thus
to open to us Heaven's Gate.

When I feel like breaking
and the tears start to flow,
I’m not forsaken,
I already know.

When evils come about
and I don’t understand,
I have no doubt
I rest in God’s hand.

For whatever the reason
He’s testing me,
Just as there is a season
for the blind man to see.

I want to obey Him;
in His Spirit I want to grow.
I willingly seek Him;
I want to follow.
I want to reach Him;
this is all that I know.
